The manager was both kind and capable, and the accommodation was roomy and comfortable. Our whole family found plenty to enjoy among the activities on offer. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back for the lovely hikes and beautiful scenery.

There's even an old railway line behind this quirky, rustic place, which gives it a unique feel. The concierge is absolutely lovely, and the value for money is excellent. They have what you need for cleaning and ironing, plus a shared coin-operated washer, kettle, coffee maker, and even a pressure cooker.

Our host took great care of us and gave us wonderful tips, including for Payolle lake and its hiking trails, less than a 20-minute drive away. We had a superb weekend in a fully equipped apartment in Bagnères de Bigorre, at the foot of the Pyrenees and close to the famous La Mongie resort. I'd happily recommend this place for a refreshing mountain stay with friends or family.

The apartments are well cared for, and the manager is very friendly. From here it's about 20 km to La Mongie for downhill skiing or Payolle for cross-country skiing and hiking, while the thermal baths are right in town. It's a handy base for combining them.

We had a wonderful stay, and the welcome was so warm. The residence sits at the foot of the Pyrenees, close to Bagnères town center, the thermal baths, and La Mongie ski resort. Good for an active week of hiking, cycling, or skiing, or for slowing down with the baths and Aquensis spa. A lovely place to visit.
