B&B HOTEL Paris Porte de Bagnolet

For 240 including flights and three nights, we got more than we paid for, and my first B&B stay went well. The room was pretty decent, though the mirrors were really dirty and the bed sheets had suspicious stains. The area wasn't what we'd expected. The worker ‘Thomas’ was amazing, very friendly, and came up to sort out any issue straight away.

There are plenty of useful things nearby: Lidl and Picard are just behind the hotel, a big Hypermarket is a few minutes away on foot, and there are restaurants, a laundromat a few blocks off, and easy access to the Metro. The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but I had no trouble there. It's a good budget option when central Paris costs too much. This was my first stay at a B&B hotel. The receptionist was really friendly and gave me an unexpected free upgrade. Room 206 was clean and everything worked. I liked that there was a microwave on the mezzanine, though I wish the rooms had refrigerators. The bed was quite firm but fine. One elevator was out of order; it didn't bother me since I wasn't very high up and used the stairs, and the other elevator was pretty quick. I didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

Small and cheap, but clean, which matters most to me. Nice hotel and great service.

The room was basic but clean and functional, and the value was decent if the location suits you. It's more of a blue collar neighborhood, with a good bakery for bread and pastries up the road. The best part was the €2 bus 351 to and from CDG.
