Reseda Hotel

We had a pleasant stay and the hotel was good, but the €90 deposit has been disappointing. At check-in, we were told it would be released the same day we checked out. We left on December 24, and by December 28 the money still hadn't come back. Staff later said it had only been blocked, not charged, but the €90 still hasn't been returned.

The room didn't resemble the advertised photos, and the bathroom was tiny, almost like an airplane bathroom. That wasn't the biggest issue for a short stay, but the air conditioning didn't work and the windows were locked with a note saying they were for the air conditioning. Someone's dirty underwear stayed outside a room for all three days we were there. They took a €90 deposit at check-in. When I asked for contact details as I was leaving, in case the refund didn't arrive, no one gave them to me. They just said it would be processed that day, which didn't give me much confidence.

As a first time visitor to France, I had a great five night stay. The hotel was very clean, the room was beautiful, the service was amazing, and everything went smoothly. The €90 room deposit came back on the same day we checked out. The metro is just down the road, about a two minute walk, so getting around and sightseeing was easy. The receptionists were all brilliant, helpful, and kind. I'd recommend this place if you want somewhere less expensive that still makes it easy to get around. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back soon!

We were travelling with three young children, and the room was clean and the hotel quiet. Breakfast was brilliant, check-in was quick, and it was easy to reach the nearby metro. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Reseda and would come back for the price. It's easy to get around from here if you're looking for a budget option, though the hotel isn't in central Paris and I wouldn't feel safe in the area at night.
