We stopped here on our way from Spain to Poland, and we highly recommend it. The renovated, rustic style is comfortable and beautifully furnished, and it was lovely to wake up to farm animals outside the window. It's pet friendly and very well set up for children: the owner provided a cot, high chair, and even a baby bath. Breakfast was delicious, made with local products and beautifully served. Best of all was the owner, who was warm, friendly, and helpful. We really appreciated our short stay and have put this place among our favourites 💚

The host welcomed us with a tasty dinner made from local products, which you can request. We slept well, although the mattress was a little hard, and thankfully there isn't much local traffic. You can still hear passing cars. This is an old farm just off the A75, with an authentic interior and a spacious room that was spotless.

I called to book a room, and the woman who answered was very polite at first. When I said we were two men, she cut me off with, “No, that won't be possible...” and hung up before I could explain we were work colleagues travelling for business and needed two single beds. I think she assumed we were a couple and didn't like that.

The host was welcoming, and breakfast was good. Our room was beautiful, in a tastefully renovated barn, and quiet despite being close to the motorway exit.
