For a cycling trip, this house worked brilliantly: bikes can be kept in a secure garage, and several marked routes follow nearly empty roads. The ride to Condom was especially lovely. Back at the house, I enjoyed unwinding in the private garden and little pool in the late afternoon. It’s a comfortable place with beautiful decor in a charming village, and Loretta is a friendly, helpful owner who knows what’s happening locally. Pete

We found the village interesting and pretty, with a couple of good places to eat and lovely spots to visit nearby. The house has that charming, very French feel, and Loretta was such a lovely host that by the end we felt like old friends.

It’s easy to find and park outside, and the house itself is gorgeous. Loretta knows the area so well and gave us plenty of useful ideas for visiting the beautiful nearby towns and villages. Breakfast was delicious and served with real charm. We’re going back this summer…

We were concerned the street facing rooms might be noisy, but the road is very quiet and we slept really well. The bed was super comfortable, and our room was clean and very nice. Loretta and Ian were wonderful hosts, always happy to help and full of good local suggestions. Breakfast was great too, especially the baguette and croissants from the bakery down the street. I’d recommend La Maison 64 to anyone.

Loretta and Ian made us feel so welcome, and their advice on places to go, markets, restaurants, and ice cream shops was really helpful. We spent four nights at La Maison 64 while exploring this lovely part of France. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast felt authentically French, with fresh croissants and homemade jam. We’ll be back.
