The breakfast at Madame Jacqueline's was spectacular, generous and all homemade, from the muesli and jams to her own custard. We were very comfortable in the spacious room, and Madame Jacqueline was kind, welcoming, friendly, discreet and great to talk with. The house is about a 15-minute drive from Mont Saint-Michel, close enough to be convenient but away from the tourist crowds. It’s peaceful countryside with wonderful views. We highly recommend it.

From the window there’s a distant view of Mont Saint-Michel, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, and joined us for a really enjoyable chat, as best we could manage with the language difference since she speaks some English. Breakfast was delicious, with several sheep’s cheeses, yogurt, homemade cheesecake and flan, juice and fruit. The only drawback for tall people is the sloping bathroom ceiling. There’s also a small TV sitting area in the room where you can relax.

We loved the quiet, the excellent breakfast and Jacqueline’s very friendly welcome. It’s close to Mont St Michel too. Everything was perfect, and we’ll be back!
