The breakfast was included, and Elaine's croissants and crêpes were a lovely bonus. She was so adorable and kind, and the place is beautifully decorated. We loved staying here and would happily come back.

The beds are so comfortable, and we were really well looked after. Such a beautiful, amazing place. I'd love to come back.

The generous breakfast had crêpes, croissants, homemade cakes, and more. The owner gave us a warm welcome and loves sharing her passion for this beautiful region, while still giving guests privacy and peace. Her home is superbly furnished and tastefully decorated. We hope to return.

We'd arranged a two-day hike with an overnight stop at La Rotonde, but when we called two days before leaving to confirm the details, we were told our rooms weren't available because the booking hadn't been entered in their register. We were shocked and had to change our plans because of this clear lack of professionalism. If you want to be sure you have somewhere to stay in Barbizon, I'd strongly recommend avoiding this place.
