In summer, this seemed like a lovely little resort for biking and hiking. We enjoyed an afternoon wandering around town, found what we needed in the local shops, and had a nice drink at a local restaurant and hotel. There are only a few restaurants and little local infrastructure that I could see, which is a shame. The town seems very dependent on tourism, though I suppose that's how seasonal resorts are.
The resort is extensive, but I found the lift pass expensive, and much of it was in the shade in the afternoon. Arrive early and you can use the car park at the road's end, past the village. If it's full, you'll need to drive back and park in town, then take one of the frequent buses to the lifts. There's no ski hire at the car park, so arrange that in town. The ski shop can check whether the car park is full on the online webcams.
Easy to get around and plenty of places to stay. There's a nice spa and a small but good choice of restaurants and bars. Works well year-round, with skiing in winter and hiking and cycling in summer.
A beautiful, welcoming little village.
There's not much to see down here. You have to get up to the top.
