The property itself is lovely, but I wouldn't call it a four-star stay. The cheaper rooms feel noisy and stuck in the 1970s, which isn't what you want on holiday. Staff could be more welcoming, and communication was hard: only one receptionist spoke English, and nobody in the restaurant did. Breakfast costs 22€, which felt too much for what was offered. The scrambled eggs tasted artificial. The pool looks great, but there's no shower for rinsing off beforehand, and no soap by the toilet. I wouldn't recommend it as a four-star place.

The setting is idyllic and the food very good, but it felt rather expensive. At that price I expected more extras. Our superior charm room had plants almost covering the window, so we could barely see the lovely view. The restaurant tables are packed too close together. With a lower price, I'd give it four or even five stars.

It felt more like a place locals go than a tourist spot, at least on the evening we visited. The restaurant seemed family-friendly, with several generations at large tables and dogs resting beside diners, both indoors and outside. We found this delicious surprise after turning off a country road and driving between a couple of farmhouses. There it was, a fancy restaurant out in the fields beyond Barjac.

The hotel bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We came across this beautiful place while looking for a restaurant, just outside Barjac, which is also very cool. There's a stunning pool, an olive grove, a vineyard, and a wonderful restaurant and bar.

A lovely little hotel in beautiful surroundings. The food is fantastic, and so are the service and wines. I'll definitely come back.
