I’m 62 and have kids, so I know what family food can be like, but this was among the worst meals I’ve been served: lukewarm and greasy. The main courses also cost 15 euros more than at other local restaurants. The food was appallingly sloppy. They seem to have forgotten why they’re in the food business.

The staff were very kind, and the house cat was friendly without being in your face. I was surprised by how beautiful the old building was. I haven’t stayed in the rooms yet, but off to the side there’s a huge terrace, partly covered, looking onto a bamboo garden with a pond and a sort of little stream.

A wonderful building and a great hotel. You can get the free breakfast if you book directly, so it’s worth doing that. Highly recommended. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

There’s some character to the place, and the service is nice. It’s very touristy, though, and the food is average.

The room, food, staff, and location were all fantastic. Loved the hotel!
