The bay view at Hotel des Isles is stunning, and I kept wanting to look out at the horizon. The Normandy beach is beautiful, but the meal at the hotel’s BIB Gourmand Michelin recommended restaurant was a rare treat too. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, carefully explaining the dishes and sauces in English. The starters, main courses, and artfully made deserts were all so good we couldn’t agree on a favorite. We paired them with wines for each dish and finished with a warming glass of calvados. It was a highlight of our Normandy trip. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, and a good reason to plan a trip to Normandy in the first place.

The views stretch over the sea, with Jersey visible in the distance. On a finer day, I might have used the balcony. The stay was comfortable and the staff attentive. No complaints.

We only ate Sunday lunch here; we didn’t stay at the hotel. It was easily the best meal we had in France, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were attentive, very friendly, and helpful. Everyone we met was lovely, and the hotel had a happy, relaxed feel. With the sea views, I imagine it would be a wonderful place to stay too. I’d recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

We had such a lovely Valentine's evening here. The ambience was perfect, and the menu was fresh, modern, creative, and delicious. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive, and efficient. Even though the restaurant was full and I gave no advance notice, the chef adapted the main course for my dietary needs, which I really appreciated. We enjoy coming here so much and couldn’t recommend it more. Already looking forward to our next visit!
