Back in 2005, this was a brilliant hotel, with fabulous food, atmosphere, rooms, and everything else. It wasn’t even too expensive. I wanted to return, but the weather changed all that.

We rode through the plantations in fantastic weather with a really friendly guide. We were lucky to get a completely clear view of Mount Pelée. The waterfall was a lovely surprise, and we also stopped for a tasting at the JM distillery.
