We spent a full week here and it worked perfectly as a quiet mountain base for exploring the island. The evenings were a welcome relief during a very hot June, thanks to the cooler mountain air. We felt at home straight away, and Christopher looked after us brilliantly. He served delicious local food every evening and gave us excellent tips on where to go and how to see Corsica's highlights. The stay went beyond what we expected, and we'd highly recommend it for a round trip around the island.

Just a heads-up for families, Corsica's roads are very winding, so be prepared if anyone gets carsick in the back seat! 😁 We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the rooms and the breakfast, drinks, and dining area are relaxing, and the setting is beautiful. The manager and staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome in the region. Their tips on places to see and beaches worked out as expected, and the food was good and focused on local dishes. They even have an EV charging point.

Christophe knows the local hikes inside out and cooks a delicious homemade dinner every evening with locally sourced ingredients. He even made us sandwiches to take along for a long hike the next day. This is a great place to experience Corsican hospitality, especially if you want beautiful mountain trails nearby. Strongly recommend it.

We did a stunning walk to a waterfall, and the hotel's central spot meant we could reach either coast in 45 minutes. The nights were pleasantly cool, and you can rent an e-bike or mountain bike in town. The rooms were comfortable, the surroundings beautiful, and the staff very polite. Christopher cooked Corsican dishes himself each evening, a lovely surprise. Everything tasted great and was presented so nicely. It felt like a family meal, but we ate at our own private table. Thanks, Christopher and staff, for a stay we loved.

Christoph was such a wonderful host, and the view is spectacular. We loved every minute. The food was delicious, local, and served with real style. It felt more like an upscale four-star hotel than a three-star one. We couldn't have asked for more.
