Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful with dinner reservations and other things. We stayed in the balcony suite, which had a gorgeous view. The grounds are incredible, so leave time for a walk around. It’s also close enough to town to get around on foot easily. Such a beautiful place!

The breakfast in the main dining room was delicious and plentiful each morning. This little hotel is also well placed for seeing Bayeux and the surrounding area. A great spot in the city, highly recommended.

After a day taking in all that WWII history, the quiet, relaxing grounds were a lovely place to reflect. The staff and management know the area and its history well, and gave us helpful advice on which sites to visit with the time we had. Breakfast gets five stars for both the food and the staff. I hope to come back for a cycling vacation.

Nelson made settling in easy, suggested things to do, and brought us drinks and snacks. The balcony looked out over a beautiful garden, and the suite was absolutely gorgeous, with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I hadn’t realized I’d booked a suite when I chose the room for its balcony. There’s enough space for a family with children. We stayed three nights to visit the beaches, museums, Mont St Michel, and the cemetery. The hotel was conveniently located for nearly everything we wanted to see in Bayeaux and the surrounding area. Highly recommend it.

The rooms were beautiful and well appointed, and it’s an easy walk to the city services. I’d highly recommend staying here. I only spent one night and didn’t use the services, but I was a little disappointed that the Utah room was occupied. Several rooms are themed around the D- day invasions, and since I’m from Utah, staying in that room would have been awesome.
