We came for the European rugby match and fell in love with relaxing, beautiful Bayonne. The staff were attentive and supportive, with great suggestions for restaurants and art galleries. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

The service was great, and the rooms were spacious and cozy. Cleanliness was okay overall, though a few smaller spots in the room were a bit dusty. A solid hotel choice.

The staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful. Our room was large and looked onto a lovely courtyard, and the hotel has character since it was originally part of the city walls. It's also very well located for walking to Bayonne's sights. The printed parking directions were confusing. I'd suggest having someone at the hotel point you in the right direction.

You couldn't ask for a better spot in lovely, bustling Bayonne, and the restaurant is excellent. Nearby underground parking is a bonus, and the cost is reasonable. The hotel is in a converted historic building, so some ceilings are awkwardly low and the floors are wavy. But it was quiet and clean, and staying in a unique medieval tower made those small inconveniences worth it.

Bayonne was a surprise, a beautiful, lively city with plenty to see and do. The hotel is a renovated old building close to the city's attractions, and the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though nothing special. We stayed one night on a European road trip, and it made a good stop. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I were in the area.
