Berrychone

Breakfast was simple, just croissant, local jam, and butter. We stayed in a roomy family room in an old farmhouse, with comfortable beds and a luxury shower. It was very noisy, though, and not fully equipped for small children.

We were delighted with our two nights at La Berrichonne. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into the house, and the tasteful decor adds to the feel of the place. Our hosts were very pleasant, and the rooms were very clean. We highly recommend this gîte.

The breakfast was adequate, and the place is close to the highway. But I didn't like the stay at all. My room was tiny and had no window, and getting to it meant using an unfurnished staircase.

The decor felt old-fashioned, though the room was very clean and functional.
