The meal was real artistry, and we’d gladly have paid much more for it. The venue was inspiring, the food amazing, and the hospitality superb. A real find, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We got married there over the weekend of June 7, 2025, and were left very disappointed. I’m writing only now because we first tried to settle things amicably, without success. As another reviewer said, getting in touch with the owner is very difficult. The castle rooms had poor upkeep, with spiders and missing light bulbs. Worst of all, there was no water at all, even after we asked right away. The hall was filthy, with countless flies, thick cobwebs and spiders, and the toilets smelled awful. The lawn hadn’t been cut, despite that being promised when we signed the contract. The grounds were neglected, the fire extinguishers were expired, and a storage room was openly in front of the entrance. I’d advise against booking this place. You’ll regret it!
