Hôtel Restaurant Robinson

Nice.

The owner kept telling me for a month that she would reimburse me, but I still haven't received anything. The room was filthy, with leftover traces from previous guests in the shower. The bedding was disgusting and stained, and there was no mattress protector. To top it off, dead insects were stuck between the mattress and box spring. I absolutely would avoid this place.

We stopped here for one night on a holiday road trip. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the setting is lovely, shaded by trees and right on the stone. The pools are a real bonus for cooling off. Our family room was huge for us and our two young children, with a decent-sized bathroom and a separate toilet. Breakfast was perfect, and the staff were very friendly. Some parts of the property seem neglected, though I'm not sure whether that comes from a lack of renovation or the other way around. The beautiful terraces are there, but the restaurant is no longer open. I tried to find out more about the history of this magnificent hotel but couldn't get an answer. Still, it's a splendid place, with crickets chirping in the background.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and really patient, and we appreciated the comfortable bed and free shaded parking. The pool was great too. We only stayed one night, though, and the restaurant was closed, which was a shame since the hotel seemed nearly empty. There was hair in the bathroom, cleaning could have been better, and the ceiling was stained. The hotel needs work inside and out. The outdoor storage areas looked messy and unclean, and would be better somewhere less visible. Shops are about 3 km away by car.
