La Ferme du Phael

The location worked especially well for fishing, with several lakes and a beautiful chalk stream within walking distance. Claire and her husband were very accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and well kept. The secure grounds and play area meant the children could play outside safely whenever they liked, which made it a great place to stay.

We were a group of about twenty at Phaeël's farm and got a very warm welcome from the owner. She also introduced us to Les Bronzés du Nord, a leisure company based in Eu, one of the twin towns of Eu, Mers-les-Bains, and Le Tréport. They offer a range of activities, including outdoor laser tag, urban electric quad biking, the Olympics, an urban escape room, a gourmet nighttime stroll, and quad biking. I highly recommend the place.

The hosts deserve a big thank you for a lovely place for a three-generation family reunion. The cottages are fully equipped, and the enclosed area is secure for children, with a playground and animals. There’s also a reception room for spending time together and a well-equipped kitchen for making meals. Shops are nearby, as are walks in the forest and by the sea.

We held a reunion for EPSCI alumni, Class of 1980, and everything went perfectly. The cottage was spotless, quiet, and well located, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. I recommend it 200%.
