The €40 menu was full of flavour, and every plate looked beautifully put together. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide for “good cooking,” which felt fair. Outside, the tables are well spaced. We did see a family deal with wasps bothering their food for a short while. Service was mostly attentive, and the staff explained each dish, though clearing finished plates took a little time. Definitely book ahead.

The meal felt special from the first amuse-bouche through to the last course. We tried both the tasting menu and the children’s menu as a family, and everything was cooked just right. The beef and langoustines stood out, but the rabbit and cod were delicious too. Every dish had plenty of flavour and looked lovely. The Chardonnay suggested to us went really well with the food. Service was warm and attentive without rushing us, and we felt well looked after throughout. Just one small hiccup at the end: the milk in my cafe au lait had curdled. It was still a nice coffee, though. The kitchen and the way guests are treated both show real care. We’d happily come back.

Everyone in the family enjoyed it, from the 8-year-old to the 68-year-old.

Set in a lovely old building, this place served beautifully presented food that tasted extremely good. It has a very fine dining style. Highly recommended.
