La Cour de Beaune

It’s a treat to find a room this spacious in France, especially when you have luggage to manage. I was impressed by the beautifully renovated house, with its stylish, modern touches and cozy, elegant feel. The bedding was wonderful, and town is an easy walk away. The hostess spoke perfect English, served a generous breakfast, and shared restaurant recommendations. I also loved the unique art on display and for sale, and bought a small gift for my mom, who loves abstract sculpture. As a world traveler, I found the comfort and style familiar, and I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

We stayed two nights with Veronique while visiting Beaune and some wineries around Bourgogne. Before we even arrived, she was responsive and welcoming, sent over her favorite restaurants and bars, and helped us book several of them. Our huge room was tastefully decorated and had plenty of chairs, hangers, and everything we needed for our time in Beaune. The whole place is beautiful, and I’m sure it’ll get even better as she’s only in her third month after opening. Breakfast was just right for us, even though we hadn't requested anything specific. We highly recommend it, with the center of Beaune close by and many well-known wineries and restaurants a short drive away.

Véronique made us feel so welcome and was incredibly kind. She shared lots of helpful advice for our time in Beaune. The room had so many thoughtful, lovely details that made it really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We absolutely adored La Cour de Beaune and will definitely come back.

Veronique was the part of our stay that really stood out. She was attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and speaks fluent English. Her background as artistic director for some of the famous houses in Paris was fascinating, and she helped us find Beaune's less touristy sights and hidden spots. We didn't want to leave and would have happily extended our stay. La Cour de Beaune is a chic little boutique B&B about a five-minute walk from the heart of Beaune. Veronique's personality and artistic eye show throughout the beautifully renovated house. The rooms are lovely, and the grounds feel peaceful. It's a great place to get a quintessential French experience in the heart of Bourgogne. For Americans like us hoping to immerse ourselves in French culture, this is a must stay.
