I had to sleep in layers in October because it was freezing indoors. The heater didn’t work, and the walls were badly insulated. I think I probably would have gotten sick if I’d stayed in January. Getting check-in instructions was also a struggle. I had to text and call several times, and on the third call got a short, unserious reply along the lines of, “I’m not available, are you okay?” That says a lot about how seriously the owner takes the service.

The room had a bathroom and was well equipped, with a microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer and more. The decorations were beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff were very helpful too.

The host was tremendous and helped throughout, and I loved this little room. You can hear the river flowing behind it, which made the setting relaxing and helped me sleep. Hopefully I’ll get to go again one day.

All good for this price range. The water tap and shower were a bit shabby, but acceptable. There’s a stove, microwave and fridge in the room, handy if you want to cook. The blanket was too hot, though a lighter one was available. The pillows were too thick too, but there was another option in the closet.

A tiny, nice place that’s useful if you need to sleep before an early flight from Beauvais. The owner was helpful and told us where to find the bus stop and train, and which buses we could take.
