Gilles was charming and looked after us, even though we were the only guests yesterday. He brought pastries, orange juice, and fantastic coffee. Everything in the place is dated, and he's owned it for nearly 50 years, but he's a very kind man.

On our two-week trip along the Atlantic coast, this was easily the worst room. The bathroom was the only decent part. The sheets had stains and holes, and some towels were torn. We paid 99,99 euros for the room. The owner was rather unfriendly and didn't really cope well, despite us being the only guests. Breakfast was a joke for 12 euros.

The surroundings were calm, and the owner was very friendly, though his age seemed to match the hotel, and perhaps he should start thinking about retiring. The hotel felt old fashioned, maybe at a 1960s standard, so 91 Euro for a room was far too much. Given the room's condition, the breakfast price could have been negotiated down to zero. WiFi might be available. Reservations are recorded on paper sheets, with entries apparently reused by erasing them.

The owner is a really nice man. The rooms are large, comfortable, and affordable. An excellent place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to rest for the night!

The room was a little dated, but clean and quiet, and breakfast in the morning was generous. We were caught off guard by the retro decor at first, then it quickly won us over. The manager is incredibly kind and a real jack-of-all-trades, someone you don't see much anymore. An idyllic stay. My wife and I highly recommend it.
