Au Vert de l'Authie

The river is a lovely part of this campsite. You can take a kayak downstream and stop or get out at spots along the way. Breakfast can be booked for the next day, and it’s best to reserve by text or email instead of using sites like Pichup. The owner speaks English really well, which made things easy for us. Just arrive on time or let them know if you’ll be late. There isn’t much for kids to do, and I wasn’t keen on the small shared men’s and women’s washroom, with toilets opposite the showers. You can guess how the shower smelled after someone had Mexican food the night before. I had a lovely stay on my way south and used the campsite again on the way back. I’d stop here again.
