Valérie gave us a genuinely warm welcome and paid attention to all the little details. Breakfast was a real treat, and the air conditioning worked well. The pool was a lovely place to unwind after exploring, and being able to rent an e-bike was a nice bonus. Free on-site parking made things easy too. Every morning at Maison Reces started with an excellent breakfast: fresh-cut fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and tasty local products. The rooms were carefully furnished, spotless, and air-conditioned. Valerie, the owner, is warm, speaks three languages, and was always happy to share tips or help book restaurants and wine tastings. It’s a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature and well placed for discovering the Lot. A fantastic find that made for a carefree, memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Valerie!

Valérie made us feel very welcome, and her breakfast was delicious. The pool is in a lovely spot, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned, and decorated with taste. A beautiful, peaceful place and a really good experience.

We slept wonderfully in the high-quality beds, and each morning we were already looking forward to Valerie’s fantastic breakfast. There was fresh fruit salad, homemade strawberry clafoutis, lovely cheeses, cold cuts, bread, an egg, and more. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Since there was no table d’hôtes, we had to step a little outside our comfort zone, but Valerie gave us lots of tips for places to eat. We ended up trying many restaurants and enjoyed delicious meals everywhere. She also regularly suggested things to do and places to visit, always tailored to our interests and wishes. We only landed at Valerie’s at the last minute after our room was cancelled, and fate brought us to the Lot last week. What a beautiful location among the vineyards, with lovely nature and such peace and quiet.
