Cabane de Carlat

The view from the magnificent cabin was splendid, and the pool was amazing. Dirk went above and beyond as a host, and we especially loved his dogs. We had an extraordinary time surrounded by nature. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality, Dirk. We’d recommend it without hesitation and would love to come back!

We loved waking up to the view through the big window. Our wooden cabin was comfortable and had its own toilet and shower. It also had a terrace overlooking the hillside. Maja was a lovely, very kind host, and her breakfasts were generous and delicious. We had an extraordinary stay in the Carlat cabin.

The upstairs bedroom felt too narrow, which was the one drawback. Everything else made for a real escape: a beautifully decorated cabin, a warm and friendly welcome, and services that felt worthy of a 4-star hotel. It was like time had stopped for a moment. A must-do!

We had a fantastic breakfast out on the balcony among the trees. Dirk was so welcoming, and the surrounding scenery is magnificent. There are beautiful mountain biking trails nearby too. Such a magical place.
