It was 29 degrees and we’d been walking for about 50 minutes when a man in a wheelchair stopped us outside his establishment. He spoke to us in French, then went to get his wife, saying she spoke English. We later found out they let rooms there. We explained that we were on holiday, walking around and staying in a motorhome, but the owners still insisted we sit down and have a drink of our choice, on the house. We really enjoyed it in the heat, and had a chat with this exceptionally kind couple in our faltering French. They were so friendly and considerate. What a lovely gesture 😊

We stayed one night as a family and felt right at home. The family room was comfortable, and the hostess was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, especially the homemade jam. Thank you!

The room had a slightly vintage feel, but it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was roomy and comfortable, and the sheets smelled fresh. Marie Jeanne is exceptionally kind, and she serves a very generous breakfast. A lovely place to stop on the way to your vacation.

The family atmosphere made us feel comfortable right away, and the rooms were very comfortable, with sheets that smelled wonderful. We stayed at Chambres du Rochereuil, where Marie-Jeanne welcomed us warmly with a drink and even gave us a small bottle of water for our outings. There’s also a great outdoor library where we could spend some time. Thank you so much, Marie-Jeanne, for going beyond what we expected. We’ll definitely be back.

We came for a weekend of dancing, and everything was PERFECT, from the welcome through breakfast and bedtime. Blankets and duvets were there in case we needed them, and we did, since we’d come from the southwest! Marie Jeanne is lovely and did everything she could to make our stay wonderful.
