Ellen and Basil make wonderful hosts, always cheerful and friendly, with plenty of suggestions about the area and new things to discover. Les Cerisiers is a delightful place in Provence, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The gîte is spacious, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped, with a garden and sun loungers. Bédoin and the nearby villages have a lovely Provençal feel, with charming markets and cosy terraces. There’s so much to enjoy: beautiful countryside, lavender fields, an unexpected summer evening concert, galleries, shops, the swimming pool in Bédoin, and the lovely lake near Mormoiron. It all made for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. We’ve just returned and had a fantastic time. A 10 for Les Cerisiers.

Our evening walks to Sainte-Colombe were pure bliss, and the sunsets were stunning. We also enjoyed the lovely bike rides nearby, which don’t have to involve climbing Ventoux. This was our fifth stay at Les Cérisiers, and we enjoyed it just as much as before. Being at Ellen and Basil’s place feels like coming home: the welcome is warm, the chats are lovely, the view is beautiful, and the apartment is neat and cosy. For us, it’s a top location.

Ellen and her husband gave us a very warm welcome. This spacious, comfortable holiday home is about 3 km from Bédoin, with a view of Mont Ventoux. It’s ideal for cycling or hiking, though you can just relax in the sun on the large private terrace if that’s more your pace. There’s fast Wi-Fi too. Highly recommended.

The view is fantastic, and there’s an outdoor pool. The kitchen has plenty of equipment and supplies, while the garden has lots of seating, lovely plants, shady spots, and a ping-pong table. Kids can use the trampoline. Le Clerc mega-supermarket is nearby for groceries, and the village bakery is a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. Paul and Maria are hospitable and helpful. Beautiful surroundings and excellent value for money.

Hostess Ellen is there to answer questions and find what you need, so you can enjoy a carefree holiday. It’s a great base for all sorts of activities, from walking and cycling to visiting markets. The room was very nice and clean, had all the amenities, and came with a delicious breakfast.
