Breakfast and dinner were both decent, and the pool looked nice, though it was too cold for me to use. Getting into town was a bit of a trek, especially in the strong wind. The room had some odd design choices: a large shower in the bedroom with no privacy, which felt strange for a twin room, and a tiny sink with rubbish taps and spout. The toilet was in a small cupboard, at least with a solid door. There was also a big desk taking up a lot of space.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, with a refreshing pool and a decent breakfast. I found check-out communication difficult because some of the staff had limited English. The bathrooms also lacked privacy: there were no doors between the bedroom and bathroom, and one room had a glass toilet door. Even with those issues, it was a comfortable stay.

I woke up with a 3" spider crawling from my hand up to my shoulder. I was terrified. There are a lot of spiders in the guest rooms, and they’ll come in while you’re asleep. The property itself was beautiful, with a pool, hammocks, ping pong, giant chess and a lovely restaurant.

The evening meal was very nice and good value, and the garden and pool area looked lovely. The hotel is just outside Bédoin, and we got a very warm welcome. They even let us look at the rooms before we confirmed. I was late getting back down Ventoux, but that was no problem, and they let me shower and check out later. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Bédoin.
