We'd been excited about the home cooking, especially after seeing all the glowing reviews online, and thought the stay would be something different. Then we found out the restaurant was closed for August, which was the first letdown. The rooms were another story. The smell was unbelievable, nothing like what I expected, and it reminded me of stables. After the initial shock, the place got so bad it was almost funny. The cheap IKEA furniture was in rough shape, even though replacing it would cost maybe 10 euros. There were stains on the furniture and towels, holes in the sheets, dead insects, and a broken toilet seat. I've never seen anything like it. We won't forget that stay.

The hall worked well for our event, and there was plenty of room for the whole family in the hotel and breakfast rooms. We had a wonderful time thanks to the unusual setting. The kitchen was very well equipped, the hall was a good size, and the outdoor rooms were handy. The services were excellent. We highly recommend it!

The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and horses were grazing in the fields around the estate. There are several rooms, I think six. We stayed for one night and had a really pleasant time. The place is spacious and welcoming, and the rooms were surprisingly clean. I hadn't planned the stay and booked the day before, but the welcome was excellent. We could eat at a table with covered chairs on site, and use the fridge and coffee maker, with coffee made there.

The setting is lovely, with a beautiful view, and it was quiet and relaxing. We were welcomed warmly. The bed was comfortable, though the shower was just okay and not very practical. It's more like a hotel for the rooms. There isn't a hostel, only a dining area with coffee and tea, so bring your own food. The cleaning could be better. Still, I'd recommend it for a night. 👍👍👍👍👍🙂

We only stayed one night, and the location was quiet with a view of the horses at Arras. The check-in and check-out times listed for the gîte haven't been updated. I confirmed on the website that we'd arrive at 5:00 PM, but when I called, the host said check-in started at 6:00 PM. I have to praise his professionalism, though. He was at a family gathering on Sunday and still went out of his way to welcome us at 5:00 PM. Well done, sir, and thank you for the warm, friendly welcome.
