Ventoux cocoon

I’ve stayed in the Bedouin region seven times, and have already booked for the 2024 season. Thank you, Nadege, for sharing this little piece of heaven in Provence. The view over the village and mountain range is superb and unspoiled, with vineyards all around. It’s barely 200 m from the pro riders’ 21.5 km climb to the top. Walk 500 m from the property and you’re either in the center of Bedouin or looking toward the mountain summit and woods. The place offers real privacy and quiet, along with plenty of private parking right outside the door and a locked bike room. The kitchen is well equipped, with a Nespresso machine, cooking plates and a big fridge, among other things. The spacious, well-kept private garden has seasonal flowers and olive trees all around. There’s also a wonderful pool with lounge chairs and an umbrella, where you can sunbathe or catch an unforgettable sunset over the village or mountain range during your last swim of the day. Breakfast is fresh and well balanced, and they adjust it to your request. The host is also on hand with suggestions for tourist activities nearby or farther afield.

An ideal stay!

The location was just right for completing my challenge, the Cinglés du Mont Ventoux. 😄 Nadège, the owner, was very polite and made check-in quick and easy.

Nadège welcomed us warmly to her place in the hills above Bédoin. The furnished little terrace has a splendid view of the Bédoin church at sunset. The room has everything you need: a TV, air conditioning and a kitchenette with a stovetop, sink, refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker. The bathroom is spacious and superb. Breakfast is generous and complete, and it’s served in the owner’s house. That gave us a chance to talk with Nadège about things to see and do nearby. At night, a large gate is closed, and there’s a small wooden chalet with a secure lock where you can leave bikes. I highly recommend this place!
