Hotel La Garance

Our New Zealand cycling group spent four nights here while riding around the area and up Mt Ventoux. The new owners were friendly and efficient, breakfast was great, and the little pool was awesome for cooling off after a day on the bikes. Highly recommended.

It was so easy to settle in here. The room felt fresh and modern, and the whole place was quiet and comfortable. The owners were warm and ready to help, which made it a lovely base for seeing Mont Ventoux. We'd happily recommend it.

For cyclists, the location is hard to beat: the hotel sits right on the main route from Bedoin up Mont Ventoux. There are two very good restaurants close by, one next door and one across the road. We also appreciated the secure bike storage and safe charging for e-bikes. The spacious, modern rooms look out over the French countryside, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax, plus a beautiful pool. Breakfast covered the basics and more, with juice, fruit, pastries, bread, hard-boiled eggs, meat, and cheese. Cold sparkling and still water from the machine was free. The new owner, Veronique, was super friendly.

We slept really well here, even with the windows open. The road gets busy with cyclists in the daytime, but it’s quiet at night. The hotel is right on the Mont Ventoux route, so it works especially well for cyclists and as a base for exploring the region. It’s a lovely, clean, homely little place, and the rooms are simple, cute, and have what you need. Breakfast and the pool were both fantastic. The hosts are such kind people, with Véronique having that French Mary Poppins feel. You wish they were your aunt and uncle so you could come back every summer. It’s also a great deal for what you get. We could really unwind and feel at home, and will definitely return.
