Les Hautes Roches

We came to Les Hautes Roches for our anniversary, and the care and service were outstanding. The rooms are built right into the caves, making the stay truly unusual. It’s an exceptional place. For the full experience, we highly recommend trying both the bistro and the gastronomic restaurant.

The food was wonderful, whether we ordered room service one night while watching tennis, ate a casual dinner on the patio, or tried the Michelin rated dining room, which was the highlight. The hotel is beautiful, with an enormous room built into the caves, and the customer service was top notch. Manon at reception and Marie, whom we met behind the bar, were exceptional. Parking was easy and the location was great. I highly recommend Les Hautes Roches.

We only stayed one night on our road trip home to the UK from northern Spain, which was a shame, as we’d like to return for a few nights and explore the area. The welcome was lovely, and the staff checked us in quickly while taking our luggage to the room. Built into the rocks, the room was amazing and the bed so comfortable that we slept very well. We enjoyed local sparkling wine, a wonderful meal, and a beautiful view over the river. The staff were helpful and professional throughout. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Everything about the stay was amazing, a real peaceful haven tucked into the rock. The food was very good at both the bistro and the gastronomic restaurant, well presented and fresh. Breakfast was good, though it could be better with eggs made to order. I enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend this hotel.
