Comfort Aparthotel Bordeaux Begles Arena

After a long drive with my dog, I was feeling a bit stressed, but Samuel and Leila greeted us with such warm smiles and kindness. They had dinner options and breakfast ready to go before 6am, and Sherlock even got a treat when we arrived. My dog and I were treated with real patience and empathy, which meant a lot to me. The bed was excellent, the apartment was lovely, and it even had a bathtub. The food was great and the staff were wonderful. Parking felt very secure, with a coded entrance door and cameras, so I felt my car was safe. Thanks again to Samuel and Leila for such a lovely stay in Bordeaux. Human connection matters as much as good service. Best regards from Alexandra and Sherlock 🐕🐾

The bed was big and comfortable, the WiFi was reliable, there were outlets by the bedside, and the shower pressure was okay. The area was quiet, but there wasn’t much nearby. It did the job for a night, though the stay wasn’t pleasant enough to justify the cost. Getting in was a whole ordeal, especially with a car. The parking needed a code that wasn’t provided with the booking, and you also couldn’t enter the building without another code. There were no signs showing where reception was, so I had to ring and wait for someone to answer, then use an elevator that barely worked and required a lot of patience. After five doors, I finally found reception. The key card didn’t work in the elevator, and nobody explained what was wrong with it. They wouldn’t add my membership numbers to the booking. They also kept pushing me to pay extra for breakfast after I’d said I didn’t want it, without explaining the parking or WiFi arrangements.

The rooms were very clean and the staff super friendly, and it’s a nice place to stay on a reasonable budget. The only small drawback is that you have to walk a bit to get to a bus stop. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Bordeaux.

I’ve lived here for the past two years with my two kids, and it’s a comfortable, good place for a family.
