We only stayed one night, but this campsite was much better than I expected. The surroundings are beautiful, and it was so quiet, though we were there off season. The facilities were clean and thoughtfully set up, with ping pong, a spa, and hairdryers. The only letdown was that the food place was closed, and so was everything else nearby. It was a Sunday evening during the off season in France, though.

The setting is lovely and the campsite is small but nice. We won't be back, though. The staff were very unfriendly, spoke only French and what little English they did speak was poor. If you book a bungalow in July or August, note that checkout happens when the staff arrive to check the inventory, not at 10 as stated in the papers. They kicked us out.

The lake beside the campsite was very green in August, with lots of plants in it, so swimming there wasn't very appealing. Our pitch also had no shade, which made it unbearable in the August heat, and it was small with the neighbours very close. The toilets use a really annoying keypad, and there aren't many toilets or showers. There are plenty of sinks, though, each in its own cubicle. I honestly don't know why people like staying here. We paid for three nights but left after one, and won't return.

It's a beautiful place, but the staff were so unfriendly, as if they were annoyed that you don't know French. We won't be coming back.
