Hôtel Saint-Christophe

The room is nice, with great showers that have plenty of space and comfortable beds. I also liked the electronic window covers. Housekeeping was fine. The desk is a bit small for working, and the WiFi gave me trouble connecting. Using more than one device caused an issue, as it seemed to disconnect the first one. At €75 a night, the rate is within the usual range for a city centre hotel. Breakfast was okay, the usual bread, croissant, and coffee rather than anything exotic. The coffee was decent, even better than at some other French hotels. Dinner was average, nothing outstanding. Having a drink outside was nice, while indoors the atmosphere didn't feel very welcoming. A proper hotel for a business trip.

I'd eat somewhere else. The staff were unfriendly, and the food was well below average. The salad was poor quality and came without dressing or bread. When we brought it up as we paid, the waiter suddenly couldn't understand a single word of English, even though he'd taken our order in English. Never going back.

The location is hard to beat, right in the city center and near the attractions. It's a small, pleasant hotel with clean rooms, though they are a bit cramped. For a three star place, that's about what you'd expect. The restaurant food is great, and breakfast is fine too.

We had a lovely evening sitting outside here, just watching people go by. The atmosphere is nice, the food is delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Love this place.
