Odalys Residence Les Hameaux de Capra Scorsa

A great spot for a vacation.

For what you get, this is far too expensive. The pool is nice, but it feels too small for the number of residents. Reaching the beach is possible, though you have to cross a main road with no pedestrian crossing. The apartment wasn’t properly clean, and some furniture, especially in the bathroom, was broken. The kitchen had too little equipment, and the appliances were old or broken. There were four of us sharing one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room and kitchen. The refrigerator made an awful noise, and only one of the three windows had a blind, so we were woken at dawn. Linens, towels, laundry, and even TV all cost extra. Wi-Fi is available only at reception, and there’s virtually no 4G coverage in the apartments. Recycling uses six different bins, but the apartment had only one small bin. We had to handle everything ourselves, including taking the sheets to the laundry room at the end of the stay and leaving before 10:00 AM.

We came at the end of April and beginning of May, before the village had filled up. Our ground-floor apartment opened onto a small terrace facing a planted, wooded patch. The rooms were adequate, though the double beds felt a little narrow. Watch out getting into the bathtub: it’s easy to slip, and the village doesn’t provide a non-slip mat. The upper villas’ parking space numbers are confusing, and the place isn’t suitable for people with disabilities. The pool was a nice option instead of the beach, which is a pleasant ten-minute walk after crossing a busy road. Staff were welcoming and efficient.
