La Villa Belle

La Villa Belle is tucked away in Belle-Houllefort, but the village doesn't feel isolated. We stayed just a few days and were always glad to come back after exploring the Cote d'Opale. The two en-suite rooms each have a pleasant terrace-deck, lovely for sitting in the last warm light of the summer day with a drink. Viviane and Stephan were charming and kind, and shared plenty of useful information. They served a generous French breakfast. Everything was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We're a retired English couple who wanted a short break in Pas-de-Calais, and this turned out to be a wonderful find. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to old friends. The owners were so sociable and happy to help that they alone made the stay worthwhile. The comfortable rooms and pleasant walking area were a nice extra. We chose this quiet place for our trip to Boulogne-sur-mer because we prefer somewhere away from traffic, and it suited us well. Breakfast wasn't a huge selection, though it was standard for a B&B, and everything was very tasty. We'd definitely recommend it.

Vivianne and Stephane were so kind and caring, and shared their local knowledge, useful maps and tips on the best places to eat. The breakfast was beautifully laid out, made with delicious local produce. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfortable too. We're so happy we stayed at La Villa Belle, and highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.
