Olivier, the owner, is warm, welcoming, engaging, and speaks excellent English. The hotel has been renovated with real care, and the bar is comfortable and inviting; the restaurant is fantastic. For work trips, the room deal with breakfast and a three-course dinner is especially good value. I’d choose this hotel whenever I’m working around Bellême.

Lunch was really good, with vegetarian choices as well, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly too.

We only came in for dinner and really enjoyed it. The food felt rustic but was high quality, and the service was great.

There’s plenty of free parking around Belleme, including just outside the hotel. I was here for Le Mans Classic and found it a comfortable, pleasant hotel full of character, right in the lovely town. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, though the 50 CL carafes of wine at 28 and 32 euro felt expensive. I also enjoyed Normandy cider in the bar and chatting with Oliver, the friendly owner. A good place to stay.

The owner made us all feel so welcome, and everyone in our group said they’d come back. We had a wonderful overnight stay, with amazing food in the restaurant and a perfect base for exploring this beautiful town.
