Chez Marc et Jeannick

The room looked out on a magnificent view, and breakfast in the garden with local produce was a lovely touch. We spent three nights here with our two children, and Jeannick and Marc were attentive, wonderful hosts. The rooms were pleasant and the whole place felt like a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend it.

Breakfast on the sea-facing terrace was generous, with homemade blackberry jam, and served when we wanted under a big parasol. The shallow pool is large and about 1.5m deep, so you can stand anywhere. We also had a spacious, air-conditioned room that was spotless, including the bathroom with its two showers. That surprised us at first, but we ended up loving it. The villa sits in the hills above Belvedere-Campomoro, with a magnificent view of the Propriano golf course. Marc and Jeannick gave us such a warm welcome that we felt at ease right away. They were always around to help or suggest things to do. We spent five days there and will definitely be back. Thanks again for the good company and time together.

The terrace breakfast was perfect, with fruit picked from the garden, homemade jams, Corsican honey, dairy, juices, pastries and hot drinks on request. Jeannick and Marc were also quick to suggest places to see, beaches, and restaurants for good local food. It all made for a lovely Corsican break, and we’d gladly return to their place. The house faces the bay and has a calm, happy feel that’s even better than a bed and breakfast. We were the only guests when we arrived, and Jeannick kindly offered us the superior room at no extra charge. It was spacious and beautiful, with comfortable beds, air conditioning and an exceptional view. The private bathroom had a double shower and lots of towels. There’s a lovely pool and summer kitchen below, though we didn’t have time to use them. From the moment we arrived, the couple were thoughtful and attentive.

A beautiful, very comfortable room, an idyllic setting and a magnificent view. The summer kitchen by the pool is a real bonus, and it’s a great spot for a quiet holiday. Jeannick and Marc were so friendly and attentive, a lovely couple to meet. We highly recommend staying here.
