Rose des Pyrénées

We went for dinner with friends, and although we'd placed our order the day before as requested, the Camembert wasn't available. As a vegetarian, I found little else among the main courses, so I had a burrata salad that was starter-sized. They knew I was vegetarian but still served me chicken broth as an amuse-bouche; when I pointed it out, there was no alternative. My husband ordered the magret medium, but it arrived cremated. They took it back and cooked another, which was better. At a restaurant of this calibre, the first one should never have been served. The staff were friendly and the location is good, but I doubt we'll return.

The garden is beautifully maintained, and the river and mountains make for such a soothing place to unwind and let go of anxiety. The food was exquisite, especially the salmon and the entrecôte, which was half a plateful, incredible for the price. I'll come back, and I hope the team stays as helpful as they are now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We had a thoroughly relaxing two-day stay at this hotel, what a great find. The three sisters on staff were friendly, helpful, charming, and funny. Dinners on the terrace were a highlight, and we highly recommend it for the value, good food, cleanliness, and comfortable surroundings.

I wish I'd had more time at this wonderful hotel. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I loved the stunning natural setting, and seeing the Pyrenees from my window in the mornings was a highlight. Dinner came with a lovely surprise, live singing. It was such a refreshing change, and a perfect peaceful break to recharge away from stress.
