The setting at Belvianes Gites is peaceful, with a restaurant within walking distance, while Quillan is only a five-minute drive away for shops, large supermarkets, and its Wednesday and Saturday markets. There are other markets nearby too. I've stayed with Bill several times over the last four years, and he's always been a warm, gracious, accommodating host. The lodgings are spacious and modern, with plenty to see around the area: Carcassonne, Mirepoix, and several historic chateaux are about 45 minutes away, while Barcelona and Toulouse are two and a half hours away. It's a lovely place to relax after a busy day sightseeing.
