La Ferme Jarlan

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from and even a farm-fresh boiled egg. The owners made us feel very welcome and showed us around so our daughter could see the animals. She also had toys to borrow, and there’s a little play area with swings. It works really well for families, whether you’re staying a few nights or longer.

We’re back for our fourth stay at this gîte, and still have nothing to complain about. Isabelle and Serge have always welcomed us so warmly. The setting is magnificent, in a wonderful region, and we recommend it without hesitation.

We spent a very successful week here. The farmer owners were so warm and friendly, almost affectionate, and were happy to show us how they work with the animals. There are several cottages, and the hosts can point you toward some real treasures to visit in the area. We highly recommend staying here.

Serge even sent us off with a little gift and a thermos of coffee for the drive home. That sums up the kindness and generosity we’ll remember, along with how helpful and available he was throughout. The working farm is magnificent, the bedding is very comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The location is ideal, and Serge gave us excellent ideas for places to visit each day. Thank you!
