We had the best time here. Sabine was a wonderful host, and the hotel has a charming feel. Our room was spacious, too. We'll definitely be back.

Chez Norbert feels like visiting old friends in the sweet little town of Bergheim. The hosts go out of their way to make you comfortable. They speak French and German, and their English is quite adequate. The building is sprawling, but there are only three large guest rooms and two self-catering apartments. Breakfast is a real treat, with homemade cakes, crêpes and jams, plus a good choice of regional cheeses and cold cuts. At 10 euros, it's ridiculously fair. They even shared some of their own vintages to go with the feast. We plan to stay at Norbert's again!

A great spot for a stopover. We felt very welcome, and the host was super friendly. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious, and breakfast was great! I've seen comments about the church bells. They're there, but they don't ring at night, so it's nice and quiet.

Breakfast was a highlight, with sweet and savory choices, local specialties and more. Our room was spacious, very clean and decorated in typical Alsatian style. Sabine was professional, and we appreciated her warm welcome. Thanks again. The location is perfect for visiting the Christmas markets. We had a very pleasant stay at Chez Norbert bed and breakfast, and I highly recommend it. Blandine and Vincent
