The village was so peaceful, and the location made it easy to explore the area near Tonnerre. Our room was spacious and spotless. We spent two lovely evenings sharing delicious local dishes and a good bottle of Chablis with Evelyne and another couple. She made us feel warmly welcome, both on the phone and in person. Our dog felt just as welcome as we did, with plenty of cuddles from Evelyne and her visiting sons. We stayed in the spacious, clean studio and slept comfortably. The air conditioning was much appreciated during that sweltering weekend. Both dinners were delicious local dishes, served after Evelyne offered us an aperitif, and breakfast was generous. She also gave us great tips on things to do and places to visit. From our friendly phone conversation when booking to the welcome in person, Evelyne was warm and attentive, clearly keen to make our stay enjoyable. We had a really lovely time in Bernon.

The village is especially quiet, and we had room to relax in the spacious studio, which has a sofa. Evelyne welcomed us so warmly. Dinner looked lovely and tasted just as good, while breakfast was a classic spread of fresh bread and croissants. A big thank you to our hostess for such an enjoyable stay.
