A perfect base if you need to be right in the town centre, and parking is available too. We were travelling with our dog, who was welcome. The staff even set up a little bed for him in the corner, along with food and water bowls. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, though the interior is a bit dated. It’s a quaint older hotel, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The WiFi barely worked much of the time, and breakfast was poor and not very good. You can get a better croissant at lidl. The hotel was old, ugly, very, very dirty, and stinky. There were lots of hairs in my bed, and I suspect they never wash the blanket. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The gluten-free breakfast was a nice touch, and the hotel is right in the centre, with a car park out front for overnight stays. We loved this old place. It’s so charming, like stepping back in history, and it reminded me of movies like the Marigold hotel. Definitely worth visiting.

We got lucky and found this place after my mother and I missed the last bus on our trip last week. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities were clean and good. Breakfast was good too, with gluten-free options. The cozy hotel is right in the city centre. It was a lovely surprise, and the stay was well worth missing the bus.

The staff were really helpful, and the hotel is in an excellent spot. It has 44 rooms in an old family-style building. There’s no air-conditioning, which is understandable in a building like that, but the management had put a fan in our room.
