Gite Dompop

We only spent one night, but it was a wonderful experience. The family were thoughtful and kind, and both they and the other guests made us feel welcome. Our room was beautiful, lovingly renovated, and tastefully done. The whole place felt warm and peaceful. We had a traditional French dinner and felt immersed in French culture. Such a lovely evening and night, thank you so much.

Christèle and Frédéric were exceptionally hospitable, and we’re already eager to come back. Their beautiful house felt welcoming, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed. We settled in quickly and loved spending the evenings by the big fireplace. We even grilled Salers beef there. The homemade breakfasts were a real treat.

We’d love to repeat this stay. The gîte is a feast for the eyes, everything was spotless, and the beds were perfect after a day on the ski slopes. We enjoyed the shared dinner too, a generous, delicious meal made from scratch from aperitifs through dessert. There’s a hammam, board games, billiards, and other pleasant amenities. A big thank you to our charming hosts for all the phone conversations beforehand and for their warm welcome during our two days. The Super Besse ski slopes are about twenty minutes away.
