L'Abri du Poète

Those three days felt like a real holiday. The hosts, Gilles and Violaine, gave us great tips for sightseeing and restaurants, and even booked tables for us. We were welcomed warmly into a lovely, peaceful, relaxing place. The rooms and the garden with its pool are superb. Thank you, and maybe we'll see you again soon!

The house has been renovated with such good taste by Violaine and Gilles, a young couple who deserve real credit. Their welcome was warm and helpful, and they were friendly right away. Gilles even lent us a pair of white socks, which has earned a spot on our list of unusual stories. The clean rooms look onto a lovely, quiet garden with a pool. We'd gladly return, and we highly recommend this place.

Breakfast beneath the trees was generous and delicious, and the welcome from Giles and Violaine is always warm. We've been coming to the South of France for several years, and it's a pleasure to return to L’Abri du Poète. The rooms are comfortable and the setting peaceful. Behind the house are places to relax, with loungers, tables, a pool, and a barbecue. Guests also have a spacious shared room on the ground floor, with a lounge, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen, which is great for gathering and chatting.

In the garden we stayed in a separate cottage with direct access to the pool, and the breakfasts were delicious. The owners are kind and helpful. It's a beautiful, cozy place with a lovely atmosphere, and time goes so slowly here that leaving is hard. The town is charming too, with narrow streets, restaurants, and pizzerias. A great spot if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Highly recommend.
