We found it useful to know that the elevator begins on the second level, so you need to carry bags up one flight first. Staff offered to help. The lift itself is tiny and may only fit one person with luggage, depending on the bags, something to consider if mobility is an issue. Our room wasn't ready at arrival, but they stored our bags while we explored and waited. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and cared for. They were a bit small, though about typical for the area, and ours looked out onto a narrow Paris street. There are metro stops, coffee shops, and a grocery store nearby, and the hotel is close to the Opera and the Louvre.

I’m sharing this so other travelers can be careful with their booking. I selected the wrong dates and noticed within minutes of completing the reservation. I contacted both the hotel and Booking.com right away to explain that I wouldn’t be staying because of the date error. They didn’t offer help, a date change, or any goodwill support. I understand there are policies, but when an honest mistake is reported immediately and the room may still be resold, some flexibility would be appreciated. Given what happened, double-check your booking details, since I received no support in this situation.

Lovely staff, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is exceptional, but you’re paying for that. My only real gripe: there’s nowhere near a mirror or in the bathroom to plug in hair tools, and the lighting is terrible for makeup. The room covers the basics, but it doesn’t feel very female-friendly.

My son had booked two nights, but snow stopped the trains and he couldn’t get from Amsterdam to Paris. I called the hotel hoping for some understanding, and even said we’d accept credit toward a future visit. The response was simply that the tickets were non-refundable and couldn’t be cancelled within 24 hours. They weren’t willing to accommodate us, and I’m very disappointed with the experience.
