Villa Dufresne

I've stayed at the Villa twice and would happily return a third time. The huge bourgeois house is unusual, with truly sublime decor. The owners are more than friendly and attentive, the welcome is top-notch, and the breakfasts are generous. The room is large, with a private bathroom and toilet. Air conditioning will be available if it gets hot this summer. It's also very quiet, surrounded by greenery, and you can use the swimming pool. What more could you ask for? I recommend it without hesitation.

The owner is charming and goes out of her way to make your stay as good as possible. Breakfast is excellent and made with homemade products. This guesthouse is well located in a lovely private mansion, with spacious rooms and a very quiet setting. There are plenty of amenities, including a swimming pool and a tree-shaded terrace.

The house is beautiful, spacious, full of natural light, and decorated with care down to the smallest detail. I had an excellent stay, from my first booking contact right through to departure. The welcome was very warm and the breakfast delicious. Yes, I highly recommend it without hesitation.

We turned up stranded at 10 p.m. after getting the dates wrong at our original accommodation, and the hostess welcomed us straight away with such kindness. We moved into a lovely room immediately, got all the help we could have asked for, and our dog was welcome too. Thank you so much. We’d love to come back. The house has its own charm, and the courtyard is lovely and cozy. Everything was clean and tidy, and the family atmosphere was there if you wanted it. The hostess was super friendly and easygoing. The bathrooms are lovingly furnished, and each room has its own, even if it isn't inside the room, which didn't bother us. A few words in French: We really enjoyed our dinner outside in the magnificent interior courtyard. We’d be happy to come back next time we pass through Lyon.
